ARRIVAL AND STAY IN THE VILLA
1.) It is stated that the earliest check-in is at 4 p.m. We travel all night with a small baby. Is it possible to
register earlier?
Unfortunately, that is not possible. The earliest check-in is scheduled for 4 p.m. The cleaning and gardening
service is scheduled for the morning before your arrival, so you cannot check in before 4pm. The house and
garden must be cleaned and prepared for you, because the previous guests leave at 10 o’clock. Estates are large
and it takes time to get it right.
2.) It is stated that the latest departure is at 10 o’clock. Our flight home is late in the evening. Is it
possible to stay longer in the villa?
Unfortunately, that is not possible. The latest departure is scheduled for 10 o’clock. Cleaning and gardening is
scheduled between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., before the arrival of new guests. The estates are large and take time to
prepare properly, so unfortunately you cannot stay longer in the villa.
3.) Although the earliest possible check-in to the villa is at 4 p.m., can I leave my luggage at the property
before check-in?
Unfortunately, that is not possible. Between 10:00 and 16:00 there is a cleaning and gardening service, so you
cannot leave your luggage in the villa before 16:00. Neither the owner nor the hostess can take responsibility
for your luggage.
4.) Can I get the contact of the host / owner of the villa?
About 30 days before your arrival you will receive an email entitled “Arrival Information” with the contact
details of your villa host.
5.) Villa Renesansa recorded my approximate time of arrival in my reservation. There are problems on
the way, I will arrive later than planned. Whom should I inform?
In case of problems on the road or long delays, please call or text the host. You can find your host’s number in
your arrival information email. Although Villa Renesansa has recorded your approximate arrival time in your
reservation, please contact the host an hour before your arrival so that he can come to the villa, meet you there,
give you the key and show you around the property.
6.) When arriving at the villa, do I have to give the host a passport or ID card?
Yes. A valid passport or identification document is required for each guest (including children) to stay in our
villas. When you arrive at the villa, the host will need your documents in order to write down the necessary
personal information, because he has to register you and the members of your group to the tourist
association. Your personal documents will not be taken. The residence tax is already included in the rental price
of the villa.
7.) I decided to pay the remaining amount of 70% in cash upon arrival at the villa. Do you accept credit
cards at the villa?
Unfortunately, credit cards are not an accepted method of payment. Upon your arrival, the host will welcome
you at the villa, and they do not have the option of paying with credit cards on the spot. Therefore, only cash
payment is accepted upon arrival.
8.) I searched for the address of the villa, but my navigation system does not find it. How is that possible?
Some villas are located in small towns and sometimes are not recognized by search engines or navigation
systems. That is why the coordinates of the villa are indicated on the reservation confirmation sent to you by e-
mail. Copy them into your navigation system to find the correct location of the mansion.
9.) I checked the coordinates of the villa, but no villa is shown at that location, only a meadow is
visible. How can I be sure this mansion even exists?
The location of the villas on our website is correct. Villa Renesansa in our offer is newly built. Because of this,

they may still not be visible on Google Maps or Street View, as Google’s imagery has not been updated. The
exact location of the villa can be seen on the website. After booking the villa, you will receive the coordinates
by email. Copy them to find the correct location of the mansion.
10.) I am traveling with a baby and I will need a crib and a feeding table. Is it possible to make them
available?
In our villa, one cot and one feeder can be made available upon request. Please let us know in advance so that
we can record this in your reservation in time.
11.) My friends would be happy to join us during their stay in the villa. Can I pitch a tent in the garden
or park a caravan on the property?
Unfortunately, that is not allowed. It is forbidden to set up tents or park caravans, etc. on the property of the
villa in order to accommodate additional guests. This is not an individual owner’s decision, but a matter of law,
and disobeying this decision will not be tolerated
12.) Can friends visit us during our stay in the villa?
During your stay, there may not be more guests in the villa than were reported to the tourist board during your
registration. Possible visits by friends for lunch or similar must be agreed with the owner upon arrival at the
villa, because the owner makes decisions about it.
13.) In which currency can I pay in Croatia?
The official currency in Croatia is the EURO. It is possible to pay the remaining payment to the owner of the
villa in euros or leave a security deposit in cash.
14.) I’m in a villa and I’m not sure how to use one of the devices. What can I do?
During your stay in the villa, your contact is the host of the villa. Since the owners of the villa know their house
best, they can help you directly. So in a case like this, contact your villa host. You can find your host’s number
in your arrival information email.
